GPpartners is delighted to have two new board members, Dr Jeanne Carpenter and Dr Murray Bingham.
Murray is a full time GP principal in a group general practice in St Lucia who has special interests in madolscent mental health, primary presentation of cardiovascular disease and continuing education in general practice. He was a board member of GPpartners from 1998 - 2001 and is actively involved in many committees over the years.
Jeanne is also a full-time GP, recently purchasing a one third share in the Sandgate Medical Centre. She has been on various committees in the past for GPpartners and was the GP representative to the RBWH from 2009 - 2011. She is passionate about quality primary care for patients.
We'd also like to thank Dr Deborah Sambo, who finished up with the board at our AGM last month.
Join Dr Ben Ong, Radiologist, on Tuesday 13th October at Metro Radiology Ashgrove, to learn more about radiology intervention. In particular, he will focus on CT intervention in the lumbar spine and will have information on ultrasound guided injection of the shoulder and thyroid biopsy.
On the 9th September, GPpartners collaborated with Better Life Centre, Kelvin Grove to present an education session called 'Delayed Milestones Cause?', which included a segment on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.
